The Fferyllt (Temperance) – Prince of Wands – Nine of Wands
Affirmation / Thought for the Day: “Infuse your life with action. Don’t wait for it to happen. Make it happen. Make your own future. Make your own hope. Make your own love. And whatever your beliefs, honor your creator, not by passively waiting for grace to come down from upon high, but by doing what you can to make grace happen… yourself, right now, right down here on Earth.” ~Bradley Whitford
The Prince of Wands is a go-getter, as all wands are about action and overcoming challenges. He is enthusiastic about everything, and can change gears rather quickly. But, he’s not interested in the little details that make all his big ideas a reality. All this energy and motivation is a great time to act on those plans you’ve been sitting on. You will need to see to the details though for the best possible outcome. Your creative juices are flowing and you’re in a position to make things happen. With the energies of The Fferyllt, you may find that you are in a position to restore harmony among competing factions. The waters of inspiration and contentment flow freely between your conscious and unconscious selves, between your inner and outer worlds. Allow inner and outer, masculine and feminine, to blend within you to give birth to your Creative Self.
The Nine of Wands is a card of caution. You may be going through a period when you have emerged from a struggle, but are defensively or guardedly waiting for the next problem or conflict you believe will appear. You are worried that just when the struggle seems to finally be over, something worse will come along. Well that’s no way to live or succeed. Are you finding it difficult to accept that you have accomplished something and cannot accept your achievements, your strengths and talents? If this is true, you’ve got to break this pattern of self doubt and self defeat. Acknowledge your talents and accomplishments and quit waiting for the other shoe to drop.
